27 Nov 2002 - The website is out of “hibernation” and is ready to get back up to full speed!

For the last several months the site has been “ticking over” in the background and for all intents and purposes, it would seem that nothing much has been happening. The reason for this is that I have had several “criteria” that have severely limited the time available to spend on the site. As a consequence, until very recently, I have really only had time to continuously update the Marketplace page.

Due to recent changes, I have been able to spend the last few days updating the Frequently Asked Questions page, plus the Registry Statistics page with registry membership now at 175 and still growing! Check out the FAQ's page for a start!

From now on I should have more time to work on the site so I'm focussing on the following:
1) Getting the forum up and running - I have found a new resource for setting up the forum after getting nothing but excuses from the last guy and am confident that it will be up and running within the next week or two.
2) Getting firm production numbers from the factory, for each year - including color codes to establish how many Guards Red Vs Grand Prix White etc. etc.
3) A page on what should be in an tool kit.
4) A page on all the documentation that should have come with your car (manuals, leaflets, warranty card etc.).
5) Scanning and posting some road test magazine articles.
6) Tracking down the official line on the seam welded tub & rolled fender rumor.

I intend to re-start transmitting the registry members monthly e-mail newsletter - and intend to keep it going - no matter how brief the message.
